Although baptized in Mato Grosso, large areas have little forest. The big exception is in the northern border with the Amazon and the Pantanal in the south. That over 230 000 square kilometers, with 2 seasons: the drought and the rain. In this ecological paradise, the largest area of fresh water from flooding the world, 650 kinds of live birds (including 25 types of Papageios), 90 mammals, 100 reptiles and 2000 plants.
