Excursions

Day 1:Transfer from Cuiaba to UeSo-Cerrado. After your arrival you will enjoy a welcome drink.  Depending on your arrival time we will take a trip by foot or on a horse trough the Dry-Cerrado

Day 2: Departure to Chapada passing Cuiaba. Chapada is a highland with lots of cliffs numerous springs and crystal clear waterfalls. It`s also the geographical centre of South America. There are a lot of legends around Chapada. Some people even say that they`ve seen UFO`s there. (for the complete travel program see “Chapada excursion). In the evening we return to the UeSo-Cerrado.

Day 3:  After breakfast we’ll start our snorkeling trip to Nobres. On a gravel road through wide farmlands we’ll get to the Pousada “Reino Encantado“. There we will be able to enjoy the amazing underwater world in the crystal clear natural water of the Rio Salobra.  Naturally, we’ll help to adjust the snorkeling equipment (life jacket, diving goggles, snorkels and diving shoes) to you. Fishes such as the Pintado, the Dorado and several kinds of aquarium fishes live in this unique river. Afterwards, a plain traditional dish will be served at the Pousada. In the afternoon we’ll enjoy another fantastic dive in the river. Towards evening we return to Ueso-Cerrado.

Day 4:   After breakfast we get through wide farmlands to the goldmine town of Poconé.  Afterwards, we drive on the famous Transpantaneira to our Pousada UeSo-Pantanal. The Transpantaneira gives us a good opportunity to observe a lot of animals such as caimans, capybaras, storks, etc. After arriving in our Pousada check-in and lunch will be served to you. During a siesta you have enough time to recover from the drive and to relax. Later in the afternoon we explore the nature by foot. 

Day 5 Early morning before the breakfast we will go for a walk. After breakfast the excursion is on horse back, possible even for beginners (tame horses). We ride like vaqueiros
(Cowboys) through the fantastic Pantanal. After lunch, we go to a boat tour on the Rio  Claro with  piranhas fishing. With some luck we can see the Giant Brazilian Otter. Return for dinner.

Day 6 After a comprehensive breakfast, we attempt to go on a tour by horse, bike or on foot, if the departure time makes possible. Transfer to the Airport.

Included:Transfers, accommodation with full-board, english-speaking guide, tour as booked.
Excluded:   Drinks and personal shopping. Park entrance fees.

Very important:

During the dry season (June-September) there will be many more wild animals to see.
During the rain season (October –May), nature has his own charm and makes a trip even exciting.
 
From  01st November – 01st March fishing is forbidden.
