UeSo-Cerrado / Nobres / UeSo-Pantanal

  1. Day: Transfer from Cuiabá-Airport to UeSo-Cerrado. After check-in you will enjoy a fine welcome-drink.  Depending on your arrival time we will take a little tour by foot or horse through the Dry- Cerrado.

2. Day: After breakfast we’ll start our snorkeling trip to Nobres. On a gravel road through wide farmlands we’ll get to the Pousada “Reino Encantado“. There we enjoy the amazing underwater world in the crystal clear natural water of the Rio Salobra.  Naturally, we’ll help to adjust the snorkeling equipment (life jacket, diving goggles, snorkels and diving shoes) to you. Fishes such as the Pintado, the Dorado and several kinds of aquarium fishes live in this unique river. Afterwards, a plain traditional dish will be served in the Pousada. In the afternoon we’ll enjoy another fantastic dive in the river. Towards evening we return to Ueso  Cerrado.

3. Day: After breakfast we’ll get through wide farmlands to the goldmine town Poconé. Afterwards, we’ll drive on the famous Transpantaneira to our Pousada UeSo-Pantanal. The Transpantaneira will gives us a good opportunity to observe a lot of animals such as caimans, capybaras, storks, etc. After check-in in our Pousada lunch will be served. During a siesta you’ll have enough time to relax and recover from the drive. Later in the afternoon we’ll explore the nature by a walk in the surroundings of the Pousada.

4. Day:  Before breakfast we will go on a early morning walk and  might observe a night  active animal on its way home. After breakfast we will go on a horse ride tour (also for beginners; with tame horses). In the afternoon we’ll have a boat trip on the Rio Claro on our program. We will observe many different kinds of birds and if we are lucky we`ll see the giant Brazilian otter. You‘ll also have the possibility to fish piranhas.

5. Day:  Depending on your departure time we’ll take another trip by horse or bike along the Transpantaneira. Afterwards transfer to Cuiabá-Airport..

Very important:

During the dry season (June-September) there will be many more wild animals to see. During the rain season (October-May), nature has its own charm and makes the trip even exciting.
