UeSo-Cerrado / Chapada / UeSo-Pantanal

Day 1:Transfer from Cuiabà to UeSo-Cerrado. After arrival, you will enjoy a nice welcome-drink. If your arrival-time allows it, we attempt to go on a tour by horse or on foot into the Dry-Cerrado.

Day 2: Departure to Chapada passing through Cuiabà. Chapada is a highland with lots of cliffs, numerous springs and crystal clear waterfalls and is the geografic centre of South America. There is an aura of mysticism and legends about Chapada dos Guimarães that is an invitation to delight and imaginary journeys. (for complete program see Chapada excursion). In the evening return to UeSo-Cerrado.

Day 3:After breakfast we get through wide farmlands to the goldmine town of Poconé. Afterwards, we drive on the famous Transpantaneira to our Pousada UeSo-Pantanal. The Transpantaneira gives us a good opportunity to observe a lot of animals such as caimans, capibaras, storks, etc. After arriving in our Pousada, check-in and lunch will be served to you. During a siesta you have enough time to recover from the drive and to relax. In the afternoon, we’ll do some horse riding (also possible for beginners, tame horses) towards some woodland to observe the rich fauna.

Day 4:  Early morning, before the breakfast, we will go for a walk. We’ll see some nocturnal
animals. After breakfast we’ll go for a boat trip to fish piranhas . With some luck we’ll
be able to see the Giant Brazilian Otter. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the nature by  foot.

Day 5: After a rich breakfast, we’ll be attempt to go on a tour by horse or on foot, if the departure time makes it possible. Afterwards there will be the transfer to the airport.

Very important:

During the dry season (June-September) there will be many more wild animals to see.
During the rain season (October –May), nature has his own charm and makes a trip even exciting.
 
From  01st November – 01st March fishing is forbidden.
