UeSo-Cerrado / UeSo-Pantanal

Excursions

Day 1: Transfer from Cuiabà to UeSo-Cerrado. After arrival, you will enjoy a nice welcome-drink. If the arrival-time allows it, we attempt to go on a tour by horse or on foot into the Dry-Cerrado.

Day 2: After breakfast we’ll drive through wide farmlands to the goldmine town of Poconé. Afterwards, we’ll get on the famous Transpantaneira to our Pou- sada UeSo-Pantanal. The Transpantaneira will give us a good opportunity to observe a lot of animals such as caimans, capibaras, storks, etc. After arriving in our Pousada, check-in and lunch will be served to you. During a siesta you’ll have enough time to relax and recover from the drive. Later in the afternoon we’ll explore the nature on a  tour  by foot.

Day 3: Early morning, before breakfast we will go for a walk. After breakfast we’ll do some horse riding (also for beginners, tame horses) towards some woodland to observe the rich fauna. With some luck we can see some ani- mals. In the afternoon, we go south on the Transpantaneira in the direction of Porto Jofre. Jacarés (caimans), Tuiuius (jaburus), egrets and many other animals and birds is what we shall be able to observe.

Day 4: After breakfast we’ll go for a boat trip to fish piranhas With some luck we’ll
be able to see the Giant Brazilian Otter. After Lunch we’ll go on a tour by foot.

Day 5:  In the morning we’ll explore the nature on a bike tour in the Transpantaneira. In the afternoon, we’ll do another horse riding also for beginners, tame horses) towards some woodland to observe the rich fauna.

Day 6: After a comprehensive breakfast, we attempt to go on a tour on foot to observe animals, if the departure time makes possible. Transfer to  Cuiaba- Airport.

Included:Transfers, accommodation with full-board, english-speaking guide, tour as booked.
Excluded:   Drinks and personal shopping.Park entrance fees.

Very important:

During the dry season (June-September) there will be many more wild animals to see.
During the rain season (October –May), nature has his own charm and makes a trip even exciting.
 
From  01st November – 01st March fishing is forbidden.
